In this gallery I present most of the photos I took last week while walking around Phuket Town’s historic center area as I was moving from my temporary lodgings at Thalang Guest House into a new apartment about five minutes north of Thalang Road.  Thus, this truly is my “neighborhood.”  That neighborhood extends quite a ways as it’s only a fifteen-minute walk from my apartment to the area around Ocean Shopping Center — an area that is “new” if the Thalang Road area is “old” and includes such luxuries as Swenson’s, McDonald’s, a Pizza Company outlet, and the wonderful Tops Market.  Enjoy the photos and please don’t forget to leave a comment!
