I always had a soft spot for Roald Dahl’s novel Matilda. In fact, I love that book’s Quentin Blake illustrations so much that I used this image on my name cards when I was a reading teacher!

Hello, Luke. The best way to work for the municipal and other government schools is to sign on with a teaching agency such as ECC at Central Festival. They have contracts with the various ECC schools (ECC having the most). For privately-owned schools, apply in person (most don’t respond to emails in a timely manner). All want to see you first — young teachers, particularly women — tend to be the most sought-after nowadays.
