After a rough day — my five online classes were the EASY part — I was starving! This was the second day that I’d skipped lunch to do data entry and my only dinner last night was some leftover noodles from the night before. I grabbed my tote-bag and high-tailed it towards the mini-mart for some well-deserved food.

I was very happy to see that our small local market in the mini-mart’s parking lot was set up. A new set of COVID-19 restrictions went into effect a couple of nights ago and I believe the market is not allowed but I could be wrong about that. The rules change so often it can be difficult to keep track. There are a lot of other things that are operating in defiance of the orders so it doesn’t really matter, I suppose.
It was the first time I’d visited this market in quite some time so I stopped at three of my favorite vendors. All took good care of me with larger portions than usual which I appreciated but felt guilty about. Since I was one of only a handful of customers and they would be closing up shop soon, I think they were just happy to give it to a person rather than just toss the food into a trash bin.

The Indy Market at Limelight is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from roughly 4:30 to 8:30 or so. I will probably return tomorrow as well.
