I started a new in-house lesson today — three very energetic 6-year-old girls who decided they wanted to do most of the lesson on the floor. This was after they settled down from continuously turning off the lights for the first 10 minutes or so of class. I was fine with it all as they did pay attention when they needed to and were a lot of fun to watch. I will need to be constantly on my toes with this trio so that we can still accomplish goals and finish the work amidst all the fun and games. Really, they are a breath of fresh air compared to the two girls (10-year-olds, I think) that I teach on Sundays and my long-timer 9-year-old that I see on Monday afternoons. I will see these three again tomorrow. Can’t wait.
