Christmas In Thailand: 2021, Part Two

One month ago, I blogged a preview of Thailand’s Christmas 2021 celebrations but have only posted a smattering of images since. These included a snowman made of tires, the decorations in my local open-air market, and holiday lights seen at a long-dormant hotel. Occasionally, I took photos of other Christmasy displays around Phuket Town (including a record number of trees) and in the Central Floresta shopping mall. A selection of these appear below.

I have seen quite a few more decorations while riding the bus to and from work over the past couple of weeks. I will try to walk around either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day to take photos of these. Also, the school that I am substitute-teaching at will probably have some sort of holiday activity Friday morning so that should generate a few more festive photos.

Yes, it seems that Phuket is ready to celebrate.
